The endoscopic colon capsule measures 31×11 millimetres and has two micro cameras that allow images to be captured for the study of the colon.
The capsule is taken orally.
On arrival at ServiDigest Clinic, sensors are placed on the patient’s abdomen to record the images. The recorded images will then be downloaded onto a computer for the medical specialist to study, evaluate and issue a report.
The process of preparation and ingestion of the capsule requires the patient to fast for 6-8 hours and go to ServiDigest (after specific preparation with a diet and some sachets with evacuating action to achieve intestinal cleansing).
Eventually the Endoscopic Capsule will be expelled through the rectum during the first week.
